Edmonton’s Audreys Books will host a triple-header event with a focus on Alberta women who write imaginative, acclaimed genre fiction. Janice will be joined by speculative fiction author Candas Jane Dorsey (a Prix Aurora winner for Black Wine) and up-and-coming paranormal romance author Bonnie Randall (whose debut novel, Divinity and the Python, is set in Edmonton). Janice will give a keynote address about her series of set-in-Edmonton mysteries at the Writer Jam, a full-day event (10:00 AM-4:00 PM) featuring a diverse group of talented, successful area authors. Also appearing on the program are Shelley Leedahl (The Bone Talker), Candas Jane Dorsey (Aurora-winning author of Black Wine and A Paradigm of Earth) and Eva Blaskovic (Beyond the Precipice).
